Responsible for all technical operations which included security, data centers, server operations, and IT.

Built out the security from designing the security awareness programs, policies and procedures, working with 3rd party vendors, and vulnerability/patch management systems. Responsible for building, managing, and executing the IT budget of over 1 million dollars in yearly capital projects. 

Transformed the company's technical infrastructure. Projects included: SSAE Type II Certification, HIPAA compliance, 100% physical hardware to virtual VMware infrastructure migration, Data center migrations, DR data center build out, automating operational tasks with scripting (Powershell), Active Directory migration and Upgrades. built and maintained the entire Cisco network infrastructure, Cisco Wireless system, HP SAN infrastructure, and windows system administration.

Built a data warehouse system using C#/WPF/ASP.Net/Powershell on top of Microsoft SQL server to provide inventory, system administration, and automate day to day tasks. Also built an in house server monitoring system to span multiple data centers. The monitoring system was used to measure and alert on all OS and hardware metrics.

Created an open source Powershell project that enabled the use of Powershell commands to access a Redis database.

Started the Dev/Ops movement within the company. Migrated the development team to a fully automated build system (Jenkins) from old scripts. Started cross functional operations and developer meetings to streamline architecture and business processes.

First Trustwave Sales Engineer to get QDSP (PCI Auditor) certified. 

Focused on PCI Compliance architecture with customers Pre and Post sales. Helped design customer security solutions from policies, managed security devices, to compliance needs. 

Took on side projects to help streamline the sales and technical components of the security penetration team (SpiderLabs)

Built the first comprehensive view of all Pre-sales products mapping to each and every Post-sale product. This provided huge leverage and up sell opportunities for the sales team.

Security Sales Engineer

Main areas of focus were Windows System Engineer and hardware rack and stack. 

Went above and beyond to program a new web based php data warehouse application that allowed all engineers to leverage the system and view their servers in real time. This also provided a system of record to look up which systems belonged to which internal departments with contact information. Automated the data warehouse collection with Langard scanning software. 

Windows Engineer support included system architecture, Active Directory, clustering, project
management, hardware monitoring, patching, and maintenance.

I supported over 200 individual HP servers to provide maximum up time and availability

Started on a team responsible for the configuration, installation, racking all new HP and Compaq blade and rack mount server installations for the entire bank. 

Automated OS and application deployment using HP Altiris eXpress deployment software and HP’s Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) with PXE boot technology.

Server deployment with RAID, Clustering, SAN storage, and network management tools.

Windows Engineer

Diagnosed and deployed Compaq and HP Servers, every desktop and laptop brand from Dell to Toshiba.

Performed troubleshooting on every major operating system with a wide variety of problems from viruses to server migrations
