Michael Keating is an accomplished entrepreneur and urban planner with extensive experience in sustainable mobility and government relations. He is the founder of Scoot, the first electric mobility app that launched thousands of electric vehicles across the US, Europe, and Latin America, providing millions of affordable and zero-emission rides while modeling the future of urban transportation. Scoot was later acquired by Bird, where Keating assumed responsibility for government relations. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Keating has studied at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Wesleyan University, and School for International Training, where he obtained his MBA and Master in Urban Planning. Keating has also worked in the banking sector and held a position as Managing Director at First Republic Bank.
