Matt Ross is an experienced self-taught programmer who has been in the industry for nearly 10 years. He has worked with different teams, managers, developers, and business owners in various environments, including remote and solo work setups. Despite his BA in History and English from Flagler College, Matt has become a fluent technologist with in-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, Node, and Mongo. He is also familiar with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL. Matt is an enthusiastic learner, and he loves trying out new frameworks, languages, and paradigms such as Clojure and Haskell. His passion for programming and his fluency in different languages and frameworks have enabled him to develop smart, reliable, and reusable code.

Matt has worked in different organizations over the years, including Comcast, where he currently works as a Software Engineering Manager, and OneTwoSee, TrueAction, Boomtown Internet Group, Revenue Partners, LLC, FREERIDESports.com, and Red Rhino, where he worked as a Web Developer. Matt loves learning, and he's continuously acquiring new skills and refining his expertise. He's particularly interested in data structures, combinators, monads, and functional programming. Matt is also fascinated by fantasyland/fantasy-land.
