Roger McIntyre

Roger McIntyre is a distinguished academic and researcher, whose contributions to psychiatry and pharmacology have earned him global recognition. Currently serving as a Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto, as well as the Director of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance in Chicago, McIntyre is a prolific author who has published over 650 manuscripts and edited textbooks on mood disorders. He is also recognized as a key contributor to the Florida Best Practice Psychotherapeutic Medication Guidelines and Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments for the treatment of Depressive and Bipolar Disorders.

McIntyre earned his medical degree from Dalhousie University and pursued psychiatric residency and fellowship training at the University of Toronto. Additionally, he is the founder of Canadian Rapid Treatment Centre of Excellence, a member of the Brain and Cognition Discovery Foundation, and serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Mind Mental Health Technologies, Inc.

In recognition of his achievements, Clarivate Analytics listed him as one of "The World's Most Influential Scientific Minds" in multiple years. McIntyre's dedication and expertise in Mood Disorders and Psychopharmacology make him a prominent figure in the field.
