• Native Nested Data type support (SUPER) that included encoding format, complex unnesting rewrites and execution.
• Data Sharing between Redshift Clusters that simplified data movement along with workload isolation capability.
• Data type expansions with the introduction of Hyperloglog, Time and TimeTZ.
• Data Lake Feature Additions including Unload to Parquet and Create/Insert into External Tables.
• Security initiatives that included Column Level and IAM privilege schemes.
• Improved Redshift Cluster availability with introduction of spillover capability to Outer Joins, Aggregates and Sorts.

• Database-wide project of introducing JSON as first-class datatype with native encoding scheme. 
• Prototyping and implementation of JSON Multi-Value Indexing with B+ trees. 
• Reorientation of JSON, Large Objects and XML components to Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud deployment.
• New storage form for XMLType in Oracle RDBMS that facilitates easy data migration across platforms.
• Improvement of CLOB and BLOB performance to par with VARCHAR2 scalar datatype.

• Parallel execution support for SQL/XML standard functions across table queues.
• Led project to support Log based replication for User Defined and XML Types. Implemented efficient replication schemes including CMDDiff.
