GB Banjara is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in private sector development, focusing on entrepreneurship, value chain promotion, vocational training, and project cycle management.

Currently, GB serves as the Team Leader for a Swisscontact implemented Market Systems Development (MSD) project in Nepal called Sahaj.

Prior to his current role, he held various positions at organizations like Katalyst, SNV, and Aga Khan Foundation, where he led market development programs in countries such as Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan.

GB has a strong educational background with an MBA in Marketing and Operations Management from Pokhara University and a BE in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Throughout his career, GB has been actively involved in providing VCD training in several countries and consulting for organizations like SNV, AKF, GIZ, DFID, and Swisscontact.

He has also shared his expertise as an adjunct faculty member at Ace Institute of Management, teaching operations management and entrepreneurship courses.

In addition to his extensive professional experience, GB has notable achievements in the private sector, including establishing a dairy plant with a 100,000-liter production capacity and an electric vehicle company in Nepal.
