Maryam Labib is a computer science engineer and educational advocate with a passion for open source software. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.S. in Mathematics and English from San Jose City College. With an impressive resume that includes positions as a Developer at Shopify, a Member Of Technical Staff III at VMware, and a Senior Software Engineer at Pivotal Software, Inc, Maryam is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the tech industry. She is also a former Chair of Tech and Design for the Muslim Students Association at UC Berkeley and has worked as a Pacifica Evening News Reporter at KPFA Radio. In her free time, she loves to advocate for finance democratization, self-expression, and education product development.
