Blair Swedeen
Blair Swedeen is a strategic business development executive who has launched and built new businesses from scratch, taking them to multi-million dollar revenue run rates. With a background in analytics, consulting, digital advertising, and telecom, Swedeen has worked in both startups and publicly traded companies. He has led customer engagement, identified new opportunities, defined value propositions, and developed scalable programs to take new products to market. Swedeen has also negotiated complex agreements, built and led teams, and consulted with companies on matters of business development, contract negotiations, and go-to-market strategy.
Swedeen has an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he studied marketing, strategy, entrepreneurship, and economics. He also has a BS in Business, Finance, and Economics from Indiana University. Prior to his current position as Global Director of Mobile Partnerships, Strategy, and Analytics at Facebook, Swedeen was the first business hire at Placecast, where he built a mobile ad tech business based on monetizing user and location data in a privacy safe manner. He has also founded two startups and worked as a quantitative analyst at UBS, where he built investment analytics software.
