Eliot Durbin is a successful venture capitalist based in New York City. He is the General Partner at BOLDstart Ventures, where he invests in early-stage enterprise founders. Eliot has a long track record of successful investments, including Spinback, Klout, and Rapportive, which were all acquired by large established companies. He is also an angel investor in startups such as Snyk, BigID, Front, and Superhuman. Before entering the venture capital industry, Eliot co-founded Penny Black, a private venture-investment firm, and worked at the Permal Group, a multi-billion dollar global fund of hedge funds.
