She pursued her Bachelor's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at UC Berkeley, developing a strong foundation for her career in program management and community development.

Tanya has held several significant roles throughout her career, including serving as the Program Director at San Fernando Valley Partnership Inc., where she played a crucial role in leading initiatives to enhance community well-being.

Prior to her current position, she worked as a Prevention Specialist at San Fernando Valley Partnership Inc., demonstrating her commitment to creating positive change and fostering healthy environments.

Her experience also includes serving as an Academic and Career Mentor at The Unity Council, showcasing her dedication to supporting individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals.

During her time at Berkeley Student Cooperative, Tanya took on various roles such as Fenwick President and Social Coordinator, highlighting her leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
