Sloane Davidson

Sloane Davidson, a Pittsburgh-based entrepreneur and philanthropist, has dedicated her career to improving the lives of recently resettled refugee and immigrant families. She is the Founder and CEO of Hello Neighbor, a non-profit organization that empowers immigrants and refugees through mentorship and community engagement. Under Sloane's leadership, Hello Neighbor has matched over 95 families from 13 different countries with caring Pittsburghers, providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive.

Sloane's commitment to social impact dates back to her time as a Kiva Fellow in the Philippines. She has also worked in the non-profit and international development sectors for over 15 years, using her expertise to create positive change in the world. Additionally, Sloane is an active philanthropist and advocate, and is a member of the Council for the Women's Philanthropy Institute and Resolve Network.

Sloane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her work, including being named a Woman of Influence by the Pittsburgh Business Times and a Woman of Achievement by Cribs for Kids. She was also appointed to the City of Pittsburgh's Gender Equity Commission in 2021, where she continues to advocate for social justice and equity.
