Elena Jurio Font is a highly skilled professional with versatile experience in both academia and industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Barcelona and has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Adjunct Professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada. She has also worked as a Research Scientist at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute in Barcelona, Spain, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at the start-up Proximus Medical.

Her research interests focus on natural language processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on applications. She has a proven track record of successful projects, including the development of natural language interfaces for mobile apps and conversational agents, as well as the creation of predictive models for medical data analysis.

Dr. Jurio Font is also a dedicated educator, having taught various computer science courses and supervised graduate students in both Canada and Spain. She is an excellent communicator, fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and has presented her research findings in numerous international conferences and publications.
