Vilas Veeraraghavan

Vilas Veeraraghavan is a seasoned technical leader with over 15 years of experience in overseeing and developing high-performing engineering teams within global tech companies.

He is deeply passionate about constructing resilient distributed systems at scale, showcasing specific expertise in various areas such as hybrid cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP), continuous integration and continuous delivery, chaos engineering, performance optimization, workflow orchestration, test automation, and object-oriented design.

His technical skills include proficiency in Python, Bash, Perl, Maven, and a strong foundation in computer science with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from VESIT and further studies at SIES, University of Mumbai, and Drexel University.

Throughout his impressive career, Vilas has held key leadership positions, including Senior Director of Software Engineering at Bill.com, Director of Engineering at Walmart Labs, Integration Lead at Netflix, and roles at Comcast where he served as an Engineering Manager and Senior Automation Engineer.

In addition to his industry experience, Vilas Veeraraghavan has a background in academia, having pursued Ph.D. studies at Drexel University within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, specifically focusing on data network modeling.
