Antoon Backx is a driven and passionate bioprocess engineer with extensive experience in GMP and Pharmaceutical production and laboratory environments. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Technische Universiteit Delft and has fulfilled several roles in a variety of companies. During his career, Antoon has worked on all aspects of the process, from process development to full-scale manufacturing and quality control. He has fulfilled several roles as a project manager, process engineer, equipment engineer, and qualification engineer at several different companies, both big and small. Furthermore, he has a strong interest in sustainability and biotech innovation. Antoon's skills as a quick learner, strong collaborator, problem solver, and effective communicator make him a valuable asset for any project he takes on. He is a former Ondernemingsraad member at ProPharma Group, Project Lead & Equipment Engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Technical Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, among others.
