Heather Thomas is a veteran of the digital start-up industry, having worked for top firms such as Critical Mass, Agency.com, and Modem Media during the dot-com boom. Her tenure at Critical Mass was particularly fruitful, where she developed the company's Business Development and Corporate Marketing practices from scratch. Thanks to Heather's contributions, Critical Mass received numerous accolades for being the top interactive agency for three years running. After a decade of work in the industry, Heather transitioned to teaching Strategic Storytelling at Columbia University and eventually founded her own consulting firm. Winsome Consulting helps start-up CEOs, pre-acquisition companies, and post-acquisition founders develop actionable strategies for achieving their business goals. Currently, Heather serves as the Managing Partner at Ovid Inc., where she helps executives hone their leadership, persuasion, and communication skills. When she is not working, Heather enjoys gardening, interior design, and spending time with her family in her college town.
