Teacher and Director of Academy of Programs at Thomas Jefferson High School.  Leads Academy Programs-Hospitality & Tourism, Finance. Program earned Model Academy ranking by National Academy Foundation (1 of 2 schools in District to achieve this distinction).

Responsible for dramatic increase in student enrollment and addition of new programs.   Serves on Teacher Focus Committee.  Managed after school program (Patriot Academy) which has contributed to turnaround performance on key school measures of success.  Created numerous school and community initiatives that are building key alliances between school, community, parents and students.  Serves on United Way Destination Graduation Committee to deploy resources designed to improve graduation rate.  Programs under this initiative have contributed to the school moving from 50% to 82% graduation rate.

Academy Coordinator/Teacher

Led recruitment, employment and training initiatives of South Florida Operation.  Developed several courses for delivery to personnel at all levels of the organization.  Responsible for on-boarding new employees and conducting new hire orientation.
