Everett Berry is an accomplished engineer and developer marketer who has made a name for himself in the technology industry. He is best known for his work as the CEO and CTO of Perceive, a company that designs software to help frontline teams achieve their goals. Under his leadership, Perceive was awarded a Phase I and II NSF SBIR grant and developed innovative technologies such as deep learning-based human action recognition and multi-camera scene reconstruction.

Berry is a cum laude graduate of Purdue University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. During his time there, he worked with Dr. Yung-Hsiang Lu on multimedia systems and distributed video analysis, publishing several papers on their research and applications.

He then pursued a career in industry, working on camera technology and big data solutions for companies such as Qualcomm and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. At Qualcomm, he developed tools for profiling the Android camera subsystem while at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he implemented an efficient encoding algorithm for the Vertica Analytic Database. Berry is also the current maintainer of PRCV Labs, another technology company focused on camera software.

In his spare time, Berry enjoys chatting with fellow developers and engineers about their fields of expertise. He is always open to learning about new areas of technology and expanding his knowledge base.
