Chintan Shah is an accomplished software engineer and team leader with extensive experience developing high-performing teams and software solutions that drive business growth. He has a strong background in cryptography, natural language processing, and computer engineering. Shah holds a Ph.D. in Cryptography and an MS in Cryptography from the University of Wollongong in Australia.

With a track record of growing diverse and geographically-distributed teams, Shah is highly skilled in mentoring, coaching, inspiring, and challenging engineers. He has a unique ability to balance software architectural, operational, product, and project management skills, which enables him to deliver distributed, scalable systems and establish data-driven operational excellence.

Shah has held various leadership positions throughout his career, including Head of Engineering at Nextdoor, Engineering Leader at Uber, and Sr. Director of Engineering at Brightcove. He has also advised several startup companies, such as Siembra and Roambee Corporation, and served as an Advisory Board Member for Zencoder, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology and has completed Organizational Leadership Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
