Diptanu Choudhury is an accomplished software engineer with a track record of building and designing large-scale distributed systems. With a focus on creating high-performance web APIs and highly available systems, he brings substantial experience in crafting cloud-native solutions that scale to tens of thousands of compute nodes.

Choudhury is a core contributor to the Nomad distributed scheduler and is experienced in distributed scheduling using Apache Mesos, as well as designing AWS VPC networks across multiple data centers and geographies. He is also well-versed in async I/O based highly scalable web services, Linux containers internals and performance tuning, as well as distributed persistence solutions such as DynamoDB, HBase, and Riak.

His professional experience includes positions at Facebook AI Applied Research, HashiCorp, Netflix, ThoughtWorks, and Cisco, where he held senior software engineering and consulting roles. Choudhury also co-founded Lifeoz, a startup that aimed to create intelligent systems to help people manage their lives. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
