Alice Armitage is a highly accomplished individual who has made significant contributions to the legal field. As a Professor at UC Hastings and Director of Applied Innovation, she brings a wealth of experience in international law and finance. Alice is a graduate of Yale Law School and Brown University, where she earned her JD, BA, and MA degrees, respectively.

Alice is a former CEO and founder of several companies, including Armitage Plus, WatchMe 911, Inc, EmotionAllie, LLC, and Founder Institute. She has also worked as a researcher, educator, and policymaker. Alice has served as Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor at UC Hastings and taught tax law at UCLA School of Law.

Her experience in the federal government as a Special Assistant to the Associate Chief Counsel at the Department of Treasury's Internal Revenue Service, coupled with her years of practice in international tax law at Arnold & Porter and Califano, Ross & Heineman, demonstrate her versatility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Alice has also supervised some of the most innovative programs at UC Hastings, including Startup Legal Garage and LexLab. She uses her entrepreneurial spirit and skills to drive innovation in the legal field and find creative solutions to obstacles. Alice's experience and expertise make her an invaluable asset to UC Hastings, where she is dedicated to empowering young lawyers to drive innovation and make positive impacts in their communities.
