Lydia Maurer is a highly accomplished fashion designer with extensive experience in the industry. She studied at some of the world's most prestigious fashion schools, including Studio Berçot and ESMOD INTERNATIONAL. She also completed an EMBA in fashion at the London College of Fashion.

Throughout her career, Maurer has held several prominent positions at various luxury fashion houses. She worked as a designer and assistant to the creative director at RUE DU MAIL par MARTINE SITBON before moving on to become a women's wear studio designer at Yves Saint Laurent. Later, she became the women's ready to wear designer at GIVENCHY, and eventually served as Design Director at Paco Rabanne. Maurer was also the Creative Director at Paco Rabanne where she drove exceptional growth and innovation for the brand.

In addition to her impressive work history in the fashion industry, Maurer is the founder and Creative Director of Phylyda, a contemporary swimwear brand that prioritizes fit and inclusivity.
