Rex Alexander, a seasoned blue-collar pilot and mechanic with over 40 years of experience, has dedicated 20+ years of his career to developing vertical-lift infrastructure. His passion for safer ways of doing business has led him to share his expertise in the industry, serving as an infrastructure advisor at the Vertical Flight Society and previously as the head of aviation infrastructure at Uber.

Alexander obtained his Certification and Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Parks College of Aviation Technology. He has also held several leadership positions, including President and Executive Director of Five-Alpha, as well as co-founder and co-owner of HeliExperts International LLC.

During his career, Alexander has gained extensive experience in the industry, having worked as a pilot for Air Methods, Crescent Airways Inc., and Omniflight Helicopters, where he held positions such as Regional Operations Manager, Base Manager & Lead Pilot, and Pilot & Safety Manager, among others.

He became a Standardization Instructor Pilot at Indiana Army National Guard and an Aeroscout Instructor Pilot at the US Army. Alexander was also an Inspector at McDonnell Douglas.

In his current role, he shares his knowledge and expertise in developing safer vertical-lift infrastructure.
