FogHorn is a leading developer of “edge intelligence” software for industrial and commercial IoT applications. FogHorn’s software platform brings the power of machine learning and advanced analytics to the on-premise edge environment enabling a new class of applications for advanced monitoring and diagnostics, asset performance optimization, operational intelligence and predictive maintenance use cases.

FogHorn’s solutions are ideally suited for OEMs, systems integrators and end customers in vertical markets such as manufacturing, power and water, oil and gas, mining, transportation, healthcare, retail, as well as Smart Grid, Smart City and Smart Car applications.

My role as architect is to design and lead the implementation of the software and tools needed to for edge analytics. My focus is largely on compiler, language, and runtime system development, specifically the development of a new query language to empower and simplify the expression of machine learning algorithms driven by time-series sensor data. The goal is to be able to run sophisticated ML, even on tiny, inexpensive microcontrollers, located physically near the subject of their calculations.

We provide near real-time analytics applications such as Customer Behavior Analysis, Sales Intelligence, Pricing Strategy, and others to enable businesses to maximize the value of all data assets. Context Relevant completed our Series B-1 funding, with the participation of Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Formation 8, New York Life, and Bloomberg Beta, raising our total to $42 million. In addition, we have entered into strategic partnerships with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. The combination of added funding and strategic partnerships place us on a trajectory to be the leading data science application platform for the most demanding customers on Wall Street... and beyond.
