As People & Culture Specialist, my primary responsibility is to act as an internal consultant to management and employees. I support the full end-to-end recruitment cycle, implement HR initiatives and I provide support to line managers on all employee related issues.

Furthermore, responsible for:

-  Guiding our managers through the personal development & training program
-  Coaching/consulting with managers on day-to-day employee issues

People & Culture Specialist

As HR Officer, I was responsible for the following:
-  Provide advice, coaching and training to employees and managers regarding Dutch & UK labor laws in the areas of holiday, absence, maternity leave, parental rights etc.
-  Maintaining and improving our internal HR support from onboarding to offboarding
-  Implementing onboarding program
-  Implementing HR System
-  Provide all relevant information related to joiners, leavers and other payroll/HR mutations to the payroll administrator
-  Produce confirmation letters related to contract renewal, leaving employees, job changes, salary changes, development plans, disciplinary actions
-  I liaise with external providers such as payroll and insurances for our Amsterdam & London office
-  Responsible for Visa applications and 30% ruling

HR Officer

As Front Office Manager, I was responsible for directing and administering all Front Office operations and reported directly to the General Manager. My responsibilities were as follows:

-  Manage a team of 8 receptionists
-  Manage all Front Office operations to include guest service and room inventory and availability, procedure implementation and enforcement
-  Monitor and develop team member performance by providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations
-  Monitor and assess service, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
-  Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns
-  Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue
-  Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
-  Recruit, interview and train team members
