Adam Gamwell is a Business and Design Anthropologist who excels in aligning human needs, business objectives, and cultural technologies to create innovative solutions that improve experiences and foster relational well-being.

Currently, Adam serves as a Senior Anthropologist at MotivBase, a global technology research organization specializing in studying meaning and cultural change at scale through a fusion of digital tools, Big Data, and Anthropology to provide human-centric insights for Fortune 1000 companies.

Co-founding Missing Link Studios (now Anthrocurious), Adam established a platform for collaborative social impact storytelling and design research, leveraging design thinking, social sciences, and mindfulness practices to help businesses and organizations communicate their stories and culture effectively.

Passionate about podcasting and social impact storytelling, Adam is the host and Executive Producer of This Anthro Life and Experience by Design Podcasts, and has produced award-winning podcasts like Faxina, focusing on the narratives of Brazilian house cleaners in the US.

Adam's commitment to education is evident through his experience teaching university courses in anthropology, design, user research, digital cultures, products and marketing, and participatory and media design.

Adam is multilingual, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and holds educational credentials including a PhD from Brandeis University, M.A. from Brandeis University, and B.A.s from Texas Christian University.
