Bex (Rebecca Becky) Bishop
Bex Bishop is a seasoned entrepreneur, marketer, publisher, and filmmaker with over 20 years of diverse professional experience in international business development and strategic marketing. She has worked with notable brands such as Wine.com, The Wall Street Journal, Smithsonian, 20th Century Fox, and State Department, among others. Bex has also founded multiple successful ventures such as SeaWitch, a Seaweed Company, Pelindaba Lavender Farm, BXofNAPA Wines, and Cork Couture. She is a Dartmouth College alumna with a background in government, film/media studies, psychology, Native American study, and art history. Bex is also a wine expert with over ten years of experience in education, wine making, marketing, positioning, PR, and distribution.
As a wine ambassador for Rotary Scholarship to Burgundy and Champagne, Bex co-produced a wine documentary, "Escaping Robert Parker: The Director's Cut," and co-founded OrganicWineJournal.com. She was also the publisher of Business Traveler Magazine, where she oversaw business development, strategic marketing, events, and brand management.
During her time at the Smithsonian Museums and USIA State Department, Bex specialized in international and embassy relations, while at eWanted, she was the Director of Product Marketing, Development & Partnerships. Additionally, she studied Russian language and Soviet culture at Odessa State Economics University and obtained a winemaking certificate from the OIV International Program and the University of California, Davis.
