His areas of expertise include Utilities Billing & Invoicing (Consume to Cash), Energy Data Management (EDM), Smart Metering (AMI), Subscription Billing/Convergent Invoicing (BRIM), Order to Cash, Lead to Cash, Customer Service Management & Cross-functional Integration with CX (C4C, SOM, Hybris Commerce). He has also actively been involved in the innovation space within the Industries Practice, ideating, designing & building a prototype "Smart Energy Theft Detection" using Machine Learning & Blockchain.

Somik has studied B. Tech, Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of technology Durgapur.
