Shaoyu Chang, MD, MPH is a healthcare innovator, physician, and investor with a passion for building cross-border and cross-cultural partnerships. She holds a Doctor of Medicine in General Practice from National Taiwan University, a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Policy and Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and has studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.

Chang is currently the Associate Director of Innovation and External Research at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and has previously served as an Advisor at Gemseki Inc., Adjunct Instructor at The University of Chicago Graham School, Angel Investor at Mass Medical Angels, Principal and Vice President at FC CAPITAL, and Investment Manager at VI Ventures. She has also held roles at Life Science Nation, Tufts Medical Center, Duke University Medical Center, Quintiles, Copernicus Group IRB, and National Taiwan University Hospital.
