Carter Cleveland is a tech entrepreneur and art enthusiast who founded Artsy, an online marketplace that connects art collectors and enthusiasts with galleries and museums around the world. He studied Computer Science at Princeton University and started his career as an intern at Citigroup and the Institute of International Education, followed by a stint as an assistant researcher at NASA Ames Research Center. Later, he worked as a web developer and business development intern at Give Real, before founding Artsy.

As CEO of Artsy, Cleveland helped grow the company into a major player in the art world, raising over $100 million in venture capital and partnering with more than 4,000 galleries and institutions worldwide. He later transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman as Artsy continued to expand its offerings and services.

Cleveland is passionate about the intersection of art and technology, and believes that the two can have a transformative impact on society. He has also worked with other tech startups, serving as a Principal Advisor at Pixm, Inc. in addition to his work with Artsy.
