Manasa Shankar is an accomplished data scientist with over five years of experience in the e-commerce industry. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a master's degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Shankar began her career as a junior career advisor before going on to work as a decision scientist for Mu Sigma Inc. and a senior e-commerce analyst for Staples. She is currently working at Intuit, where she applies her extensive background in data mining, quantitative analysis, A/B and MVT testing, reporting, and data visualization to generate business insights that shape strategy and drive bottom-line impact. In addition to her technical skills in advanced SQL, Excel, Tableau, R, and Adobe Analytics, Shankar also has a strong educational foundation in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science from The Oxford Senior Secondary School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Vemana Institute of Technology.
