Brookstone is a national retailer, and at the time of my employment, a major catalog mailer, with two active catalog titles. • Responsible for sales, customer acquisition, and profitability of the two Brookstone catalogs (Hard-to-Find Tools and Brookstone Gift).• Duties included full P&L planning and budgeting of catalog sales; circulation planning for over 22 million catalogs annually; setting profitability and marketing goals for the Mail Order Division.• Maintenance and updating of 8 million name database; merge/purge execution; producing weekly orders and sales forecasts.• Back-end merchandise analysis; management of the list rental and package insert programs; statistical analysis of in-house and outside mailing lists; integration of catalogs with 200+ retail stores.
