Before joining Hippo, Rick held senior executive positions at several well-respected insurance companies, including First Connect Insurance, Superior Access Insurance, and Mercury Insurance Group. With his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field, Rick is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter and a Certified Insurance Counselor. He is also an advisor to several other insurtech companies and sits on the Board of Directors of Hippo Enterprises, Spinnaker Insurance Company, and First Connect Insurance.

Rick's impressive education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Oregon State University.
