Tadej Pugelj is a passionate Scouting leader, trainer, and professional with extensive experience in adult resources and volunteer development. He has been engaged in Scouting since a young age, serving as a patrol leader, unit leader, assistant and leader trainer, and member of the board executive. With a Master's degree in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Tadej brings a unique blend of technical and people skills to his work.

In his current role as the Director of Adults Resources & Volunteer Development at the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), Tadej is responsible for providing consistent support for the volunteers who selflessly devote their energy and leisure time to fulfill the mission of Scouting. He believes that a good leader creates a safe space and empowering conditions for young people to develop their full potential. This synergy results from effectively managing adult resources, recruiting talent, and aligning mutual goals and objectives. By providing relevant induction and performance review, adults can galvanize strong youth engagement and deliver meaningful programs, converging towards the Vision of Scouting 2023.

Tadej's extensive background and competencies in adult resources and volunteer development have developed through participation in various programs and initiatives with external cooperation, formal and non-formal education institutions, governmental bodies, business, and the public sector in Slovenia and the European Union. He effectively connects and engages people of all generations, roles, and cultures, and his creativity can foster innovation through physical meetings and digital means to achieve concrete and meaningful results.
