Hugo Choupina is a renowned Innovation Consultant and key player in fostering and translating Innovation. With a dual Master Degree in Business Economics and Biomedical Engineering, he has extensive experience in problem-solving, a global strategic vision, and a disruptive mindset that is focused on maximizing work productivity and efficiency. Currently, he acts as the Senior Innovation Consultant for the European Team at FI Group, where he leads innovation initiatives in Portugal, Italy, Spain, and France. Hugo is also the Deputy Member of the European Health Parliament, working on innovative solutions for telemedicine and patient-centered care, and Innovation Director of the Annual Innovation Forum in Biomedical Engineering. Associated Researcher at INESC TEC since 2013, he has over 15 international conference and peer-reviewed journal publications. A Biomedical Engineer, Hugo has worked in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München, and as Project Manager and Innovation Consultant at INOVA+.
