Roy Munin, a community entrepreneur based in Jerusalem, has made a significant impact in the city's tech startup scene. He is the CEO & Co-founder of Made in JLM, a community that has helped increase the number of tech startups in the city by 5x per year and bring in billions of dollars in tech investment. With expertise in community building, startup entrepreneurship, and cities, Roy is one of the first 100 global Fellows at Facebook's Community Leadership Program (2018) and one of Jerusalem's inaugural Global Shapers at the World Economic Forum (2019). He has also won recognition for his work, such as Forbes Under 30 (2017) and WeWork Creator Awards (2017). Roy attended IASA - Israeli Arts and Science Academy in high school and studied Psychology & Cognitive Science at The Open University of Israel. Prior to Made in JLM, Roy founded Side Project Academy and served as Community Programs Manager at OrCam and CEO & Co-founder at Videeback.
