Ikiya Cade-Henry, a first-generation college graduate and former foster youth, has made exceptional strides in the hospitality industry, with a keen interest in event planning. She graduated from Collin's College of Hospitality with a degree in Hospitality Management and actively participated in local high-profile events such as the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival and the Royal Court Luncheon for the Tournament of Roses. Her professional career consists of internships at STAPLES Center/Microsoft Theater, where she assisted with events associated with Kings, Lakers, X Games, Cirque du Soleil, and MTV Video Music Awards, among others. She worked as an Event Manager at UCLA Conference Services and has partnered with non-profit organizations like An Empowered Woman and Breaking into Hollywood to coordinate events like annual film festivals and monthly workshops. Additionally, Ikiya's past leadership roles in various organizations/fields have molded her to be adept in problem-solving and assertiveness.
