M Parvez Alam is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in strategy, marketing, program management, and operations. He is the Chief Executive Officer & Director of Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC) in Chennai, India, which has successfully incubated over 120 startups within three years. Prior to his current position, Alam served as the Head of Corporate Marketing at UCAL Group, a Tier 1 manufacturer in the automotive, aerospace, and defense domains with an annual turnover of $130 million.

Alam holds an engineering degree from Anna University and a Masters in Management from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, and Stuart School of Business, Chicago. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Business Administration from SP Jain School of Global Management, Australia. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), DASM (Disciplined Agile Scrum Master), DASSM (Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master), PRINCE2 Foundation (Projects IN Controlled Environments), MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist), CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt), and a Certified Chief Innovation Officer (CCIO) by Rocheston Accreditation Institute - New York. He is also a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) by ATTP, USA.

In addition to his work at CIIC, Alam serves as the President of PMI Chennai Chapter and a member of the CII Southern Region Forum on Startupreneurs.
