Mark Sayer is a seasoned IT security professional, with more than two decades of experience working on a variety of roles and organizations. He specializes in creating cyber defense strategies and executing them through people leadership, coaching, and mentoring. Mark currently holds the position of Cyber Defence Lead, AAPAC at Accenture, where he led the development of local technical cyber capability across ANZ, MET, ASEAN, and Japan regions. Before joining Accenture, Mark worked for National Australia Bank, where he was Head of Security Strategy & Architecture, Security Practice Manager, and Security Architect. Mark is passionate about advancing the professional discipline and maturity of IT security in his organization and peer group. He is also an enthusiastic, energetic, and fun individual who actively seeks adventure.
