Atlanta-based record producer and songwriter Omar Walker, professionally known as "Major Seven," has become a household name in the music industry with his chart-topping singles and collaborations. With a deep passion for music, Major Seven began his professional journey back in 2012 when he got the opportunity to work with R&B Legend Keith Sweat, who connected him with T-Pain to produce his "Stoic" mixtape. Since then, Major Seven has produced records for some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Rihanna, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Kodak Black, among many others.
Major Seven's first album placement was in March 2014 with Rick Ross's "Mastermind" album, where his lead single "Devil Is a Lie" featuring Jay-Z earned him his first Grammy nomination. From there, Major Seven's international album placements have been impressive, including artists like Salmo, Fabri Fibra, Nitro, Marracash & Gue Pequeno. He also takes pride in building strong relationships with companies that create the tools that inspire and help execute his creativity, including Waves, Native Instruments, Output, Serato, and more.
In addition to his work as a record producer, Major Seven is also an entrepreneur and has held a position as a product specialist at Native Instruments. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Georgia Southern University. Today, he is serving as a record producer at Sony/ATV Music Publishing, continuing to pursue his passion of producing chart-topping music.
