Rafael Kalichstein

Rafael Kalichstein is the Principal at FORM Design Studio, a design firm that has completed nearly 100 projects since its establishment in June 2006. Specializing in residential projects, including remodels, ground-up builds, furnishings, and commercial spaces, FORM has recently expanded its expertise to include hospitality design.

With a team comprised of an Emmy award-winning and Oscar-recognized designer, FORM prides itself on its exquisite taste and unique ability to blend client needs with the essence of the space. The studio draws inspiration from various eastern philosophies, offering a distinctive and unparalleled design approach.

Rafael's educational background includes a Certificate in Oriental Bodywork and Chinese Medicine from the American University of Complimentary Medicine, a Certificate of Completion in Acting from the William Esper Studio, as well as studies at the Hollywood Schoolhouse, Phillips Academy, and New York University, culminating in an A.A. and B.F.A. in Philosophy and Acting.

Aside from his role at FORM Design Studio, Rafael has diverse professional experience, including acting stints at DIRTY MAGAZINES - the FILM and Knightsbridge Theatre. He has also owned and practiced at Archangel Healing Arts, served as an Assistant General Manager at Butter, and worked as a Bar Manager at Jack's Fifth.
