Eugene Soriano

Eugene Soriano, MBA, CPA, CMA, is a seasoned finance executive with over 18 years of experience across public and private sectors, excelling in strategic planning, tax and compliance, budgeting, treasury and investments, financial reporting, and investor relations.

He holds an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and has led two companies through their IPO processes, successfully completing their S-1 filings.

Eugene has a proven track record as head of finance and accounting in three technology firms, overseeing various financial functions and managing teams of professionals in industries like E-commerce, Software and SaaS, Technology, Life Sciences, and interactive media.

He actively participated in the 2011 AICPA IFRS Item Development for the Uniform CPA Examinations, contributing to CPA exam question writing.

Eugene specializes in Startups, Technology Companies (including Artificial Intelligence Customer Engagement Platform, Software, Internet, SaaS, and eCommerce), Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail, Financial Services, Investment Management, Real Estate Investment, and Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals.

Between 2012 and 2015, he served as the VP for Young Professionals in the Golden West Council of the IMA, covering Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Hawaii.
