As an SEO Strategist, my role has focused on providing personalized strategic guidance for clients interested in improving their organic search visibility, driving key business objectives via SEO, and evangelizing the value of organic search. In this role, I've been able to provide strategic SEO leadership for multiple Fortune 500 clients, positively impacting their organic performance at scale.

Some of my favorite wins from working with my clients:
- Drove $30M in incremental organic revenue via on-page SEO for a single landing page
- Applied CMS Migration best practices for SEO to increase organic traffic +465% post-migration 
- Oversaw the consolidation of several site sections leading to +107% increase in organic traffic and +41% increase in conversions Y/Y

SEO Strategist

As an SEO Specialist, I was able to work together with our SEO team to contribute to a variety of enterprise SEO projects. I focused on technical SEO recommendations, content gap analysis, developing my strategic thinking abilities, understanding the tactics of enterprise SEO, and learning about the importance of scalability when developing any kind of marketing recommendation. 

This position offered the opportunity to present my own observations and insights to clients, and to support the SEO strategists on our team when planning out tasks and developing actionable tactics. 

The biggest adjustment I made coming to this position was the transition from working primarily with local businesses to working with enterprise clients. The strategic approach changes significantly with the increase in scale.

At Altitude, I worked on the comprehensive implementation of on-page SEO best practices for over 60 clients in a variety of industries. I worked with a team of several other awesome folks each day to coordinate digital marketing campaigns for all of our clients. My primary focus throughout this time was organic search.

I developed internal processes for onboarding, keyword research, competitive research, on-page search optimization, strategic content development, analytics, and reporting. These processes enabled us to effectively and efficiently work together with clients to optimize the priority elements of their site with the objective of achieving their business goals.

At Zenman, I worked with clients, learning about their businesses, ideas and goals, and translating that information into SEO campaigns to increase search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to client websites. 

I created concise, researched, and process-driven SEO campaigns to earn relevant organic traffic for clients, grow their customer base, and enhance their online visibility.

Being part of the Zenman team allowed me to showcase my abilities as a creative writer, analyst, and SEO expert. I enjoy utilizing the power of the internet to help clients strategically grow their businesses. 

My time with Zenman taught me a great deal about the world of SEO; it consistently offers opportunities to discover strategic insights that impact business performance. Being a digital marketing specialist for JEMSU, I was responsible for on-page SEO strategy and implementation, content marketing, copywriting, and authority building for local businesses. This position included SEO research, content creation, and publishing search engine-friendly content for a variety of websites and blogs.  

Authority building was a major component of this position. I spent a lot of time studying link profiles of websites to uncover useful observations and actionable insights. Those insights were developed into strategies and tactics focused on improving search engine visibility and traffic for client websites.

SEO Specialist & Copywriter

As a sales team manager, I hired, trained and managed a team of commission-driven, in-the-field salespeople, selling 10-minute no-cost windshield repairs with lifetime warranties.  We followed a precise process for engaging customers, inspecting their windshields, checking with their auto insurance providers for repair eligibility, and performing windshield chip and crack repairs in a timely fashion, while offering a lifetime warranty on all of our work.   

While I was managing our sales team, we were recognized as the #1 sales team in the nation for 3 consecutive months.  This was an incredibly demanding position, and while working here, I became accustomed to working 7 days a week.  

The valuable sales experience and the incredible number of people I was able to meet are the two most valuable takeaways from my time working here.

While working as a seminar organizer, I was responsible for contacting insurance agents and inviting them to seminars focused on opportunities to own an independent health insurance agency.  The position was a sales position -- seminar attendees were pitched with the chance to open a franchised insurance agency through Brooke Insurance. 

This job required extensive cold-calling and networking, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to quickly build relationships with people over the phone. I made 60-100 calls per day, reaching out to insurance agents all over the country to share with them an opportunity to own their own insurance agency.

This job taught me a lot about the sales process and the law of averages. I learned how to handle harsh rejections and move forward with my day, and I learned to find opportunities to recognize and celebrate successes, even small ones.

During my time working as a Michael's certified framer, I learned the skill of custom picture framing, and refined my communication by guiding customers through the custom picture framing process. This was a fun position that involved detail oriented work. There was a strong emphasis on deadline-oriented, archival-quality picture framing, taking exquisite care of customer artwork. and providing the best custom picture framing service possible.
