Rick Posta is a seasoned telecommunications professional with over 56 years of experience in management and non-management positions worldwide. With comprehensive knowledge in RBOC, ILEC, CLEC, and International Gateway Routing and Translations, Rick has held roles at major corporations such as AT&T, Nortel/Bell Canada International, Cable & Wireless USA, and Primus Telecommunications. Notably, he managed, designed, and built various SS7 TDM and VOIP networks for Cable & Wireless USA, Primus, and TriVergent/NuVox Communications. Rick has an excellent understanding of telecommunications switches, routers, DACS (Tellabs), servers, and transmission facilities both locally and internationally. He is highly experienced in working with different protocols and has dealt with various platforms, including DSC, Ericsson, ATT/Lucent, Nortel/Ciena, Seimens, Genband/Cedar Point VOIP, Huawei IMS, Sonus VOIP, Cisco BTS, MGX, and various other name brand soft switches. Rick has acquired a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification in his years of practice. Additionally, his technical expertise extends to installation and support for different clients, including Acme, Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, Sun-Orcale servers, and switches. He also has a background in serving in the United States Marine Corps and has worked as an Insurance Agent at Bankers Trust Insurance Agency.
