Alejandra Chavez

Alejandra Chavez is an accomplished global marketing professional who has worked in a variety of industries, including biopharmaceuticals, healthcare, higher education, and strategy consulting. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-Kenan-Flagler Business School, Alejandra holds a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Economics and Sociology from Colorado College and has also completed an undergraduate year abroad program at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Alejandra's diverse work experience has helped her develop a well-rounded skill set, including cross-functional team management, stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and strategy development. Known for her intellectual curiosity and amiable personality, Alejandra has an excellent track record of championing initiatives that drive business growth and improve stakeholder value.

Currently working as a Global Marketing Manager for Oncology (Sotorasib) at Amgen, Alejandra is passionate about oncology and is dedicated to being a role model for minority and Hispanic women in business. She has also worked as a Marketing Manager for Multiple Myeloma (US Kyprolis) and as a Senior Oncology Specialist at Amgen.

Outside of work, Alejandra loves hiking, fitness, and dessert tastings. With interests in international business, emerging markets, and mentoring, Alejandra is always looking for new ways to grow both personally and professionally.
