Albert Lee is a seasoned business leader and accomplished designer whose career has spanned multiple top-tier companies, as well as an academic background that includes stints at some of the country's most prestigious universities. Most recently, Albert serves as an Operating Partner in Design & Product at NEA, a venture capital firm where he works with portfolio companies to develop world-class products, advocates for design-led investments, and works to deepen understanding of product design within the tech industry. Alongside this, Albert is also an executive coach who supports founders and CEOs facing the day-to-day challenges of building a high-growth company.

Albert's career began at architecture firms, working for the likes of Gehry Partners, RoTo Architects, and later founding his own company, All Tomorrows. He then transitioned into design, joining 2x4 as a Managing Director and later establishing their Asia office in Beijing. In his most high-profile role as Managing Director at IDEO’s New York office, Albert specialized in developing new ideas and incubating products and ventures for clients based on insights in consumer and user preferences, working with industries as diverse as fashion and finance. An entrepreneur at heart, Albert also co-founded the product Popplet, a K-12 productivity and collaboration platform with over 10 million downloads.

Albert's academic track record reflects his interest and capability across diverse fields. He has an MBA in entrepreneurship, marketing, and media from Columbia Business School, an MFA in graphic design from Yale University, and a BA in architecture from U.C. Berkeley. Outside of work, Albert was named one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business in 2014 and has served on the board of directors of AIGA/NY. His work has also been recognized and exhibited by prestigious institutions such as SFMoMA and MOMA.
