Felipe Flores is a highly experienced and accomplished customer-focused technologist and data science leader with a passion for data-driven decision-making and creating data-driven products. Felipe holds degrees in Business Management major in Business Economics and Computer Systems Engineering (Honours) from The University of Queensland. He has a vast experience of building and leading analytics teams, creating data strategy for organizations, and working with senior stakeholders to deliver value across the business.

Felipe has worked in various organizations including Liberty Financial Pty Ltd, RMIT University, ANZ, and Honeysuckle Health. He is the current Head of Data Science at Honeysuckle Health, a healthcare AI company based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. He is also a co-organizer of Data Science Melbourne and a former founder and podcast host at Data Futurology.

Throughout his career, Felipe has gained expertise in areas such as Machine Learning, Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Data Science, Data Warehousing, Application Development (Mobile & Web), Lean Startup, and Design Thinking. He has been involved in managing, mentoring, and developing teams, providing leadership and mentoring to these teams, working with other teams and business units within his organization, and coding and doing analytics and machine learning himself.
