Camilla Bøgelund is a seasoned Engagement- and Communications Consultant with extensive expertise in civil society, sustainable development, and global cooperation. She currently works for CISU - Civil Society in Development, a network of 280+ Danish civil society organizations with over 300,000 volunteers involved in Danish development cooperation. With over a decade of direct country working experience, Camilla has had the privilege of working in countries like Malawi, Uganda, South Africa, Sierra Leone, and Nepal, among others. She is also a board member of YMCA and YWCA Denmark and Globalnyt and a Change Maker with Sustainable Change Makers.

Camilla holds a professional bachelor's degree in Journalism from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole and has studied Digital Marketing at Bigum&Co. Throughout her career, she has held various positions, including Communications Officer, part-time teacher, SDG Communications Consultant, and Freelance Communications Consultant, among others. She is passionate about promoting civil society as a driving force for creating a sustainable and just world.
