Simon Dove is an accomplished artistic director and producer in the field of contemporary dance, with nearly three decades of experience. He has worked with some of the most prominent companies and artists in the world, including the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). He has also served as the director of the School of Dance at Arizona State University and as a senior program officer for the arts at the Ford Foundation. In addition to his artistic and administrative work, Dove is an active scholar and writer, with publications in numerous academic and popular outlets. He has also served on a variety of boards and committees, including those for organizations such as Dance/USA and the Jerome Robbins Foundation.
