As an Associate, I am responsibly for day-to-day client work and project management, including media relations, website development, marketing activities and new business development. For many clients, actively manage and analyze digital marketing activities including Google AdWords, Google Analytics, remarketing and online advertising. I also assist in creating strategic communications plans, creative marketing campaigns and promotional events, including the thrice-a-year Common Good Breakfast Series.

In my role at LHS, I was primarily responsible for media monitoring and clipping for several different clients. Focused in the biotechnology and healthcare industries, I was responsible for writing press releases and newsletter articles, scheduling investor meetings and finding and pitching new business. I also took the lead in planning a large-scale event for a client, and assisted in LHS Immersion™ process with in-depth research, interviews and message development.

In the Public Affairs department, I was in charge of the weekly employee newsletter. This involved conducting interviews with physicians, patients and employees while creating content for this publication. In addition, I spent a lot of time writing news releases, blogs and helping out at special sponsored events in the community.

As a marketing team member, I led events in the Eau Claire area to promote tourism, providing special promotions and advice on how to navigate around the city. In addition to these duties, I also to managed an account on the not-for-profit marketing team, assisted developing social media strategy and even participated in our winning 2014 All-America City presentation.

Destination Marketing Intern

Planning a weekend-long trip to Madison for listeners was my main task while at Wisconsin Public Radio. I lead this trip of 30 people, raising almost $2,000 for the organization. Along with my event planning duties, I wrote weekly press releases announcing the local shows topics and edited the website with new information. Furthermore, I managed social media and create promotional items for WPR.

In my role at this busy marketing firm, I was in charge of social media management for seven different clients in various industries such as healthcare, B2B consulting, legal and more. This included writing content and using Hootsuite and SocialBro. In addition, I produced monthly traffic reports using Google Analytics and Google AdWords, determining the best use of our SEO. Along with other research projects like creating media lists and conducting interviews, I assisted many of these companies in building their social media presence from scratch to thousands of followers and interactions.

Undergraduate Research Intern

As the host and producer of my own student radio show, I conducted interviews with student organizations and staff to learn more about campus happenings. Using Adobe software, I recorded, produced and edited the radio show single-handedly. To help with brand awareness, I renamed the show (Blugold Radio), recorded on-air promotions and designed a fresh logo, which is still in place today. With that, we had increased numbers of listeners and awareness on campus.
