Deena Tumeh is an accomplished legal professional who has earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law degree from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale University. With experience working for several legal organizations, Tumeh has a wealth of experience in the field. She served as a legal intern at Aclu of Southern California and as an intake counselor at Legal Aid Society Employment Law Center Workers’ Rights Disability Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with disabilities in employment-related cases. Tumeh has also held internships with Centro De Estudios Legales Y Sociales and Asociación Por Los Derechos Civiles, where she gained experience in human rights and political advocacy. Her background also includes a research fellowship with the Council on Crime and Justice.
